5th Grade Mathematics

This 6-month math course will cover arithmetic, non-algebraic geometry, and pre-algebra. The arithmetic will begin with a quick review of standard addition, subtraction, multiplication, and long division before transitioning into fractions and decimals. Then, it will move on to basic geometry including identifying two and three-dimensional figures, as well as calculating the areas of some of those shapes. Finally, it will cover the order of operations and simplifying expressions, as well as identifying the patterns of expressions and thus introduce graphing on a coordinate plane.
